Service: Concrete Parana Milling

The objective was to establish a suitable texture profile for the bonding and topping of a 50mm wear retardant surface. The incorrect low-end equipment and methodological approach by the main contractor has resulted in failure of pull test and subsequent topping failure.

By using our machine, we managed to shave off 6mm – 8 mm of existing substrate, exposing existing granite aggregate with the correct and suitable profile. Our productive and well-established method has result in huge costs savings where we have quicker turnaround time, overheads, lesser structural defects and rectification works to be done.
