The subsea engineering factory faced visible cracks and structural concerns due to early slab design flaws. With plans to add machinery and increase production demands, the client requires a solution to restore the slab’s integrity and ensure a durable, blister-free surface.

Cracks were repaired to restore strength, with moisture content measured to select materials preventing blistering. The floor coating was removed, and SGi’s advanced shot blasting method was used for its superior coverage and CSP3-CSP4 profile suitability. The project concluded with a smooth epoxy finish, combining durability with aesthetic appeal.
